Yellowstone is a solidly written drama – great characters, well developed – that takes its tone from some modern masterpieces. It has the feel and cinematography of Longmire, the plot and gritty perspective of The Sopranos, and the dramatic drive of shows like The Denver Clan or other similar network dramas. Much respect to Costner and Cole Hauser – these guys are doing their best. I didn’t expect to be so captivated by this show. It’s really worth it.
