The first known building Daryl’s caravan passes by is known as the Pantheon
Tale
Daryl journeys through a broken but resilient France, hoping to find a way back home. Its original purpose was as a church until the French Revolution, when it was converted into a mausoleum commemorating French national heroes. Despite the series being set over a decade after the apocalypse, there seems to be no end to the oil. Characters are eager to drive cars and trucks in the series, despite the fact that gasoline deteriorates with age, usually within a year or two.
Sequel, Prequel & Reboot It!
Additionally, as gasoline breaks down, it becomes rubbery and also compromises engine components. So driving a motor vehicle for ten years or more in a zombie apocalypse is out of the question. It appears in Garch the Great: Remake It! Redo It!
It was never seen anywhere else outside of FTWD
(2023). I sighed before writing this, because what can I say?! There was AT LEAST one nuclear explosion in the TWD universe. Anyway, France is known for its love of nuclear power, but there is no sign of disruption there.
That’s not the most absurd thing about the show though
No, the point is that there are still routes between America and Europe just to send zombies??? Anyway, forget about that nonsense and the fact that not only Daryl but also Carol could end up in the same place in the absolute abyss of France. Also, forget that anyone can shoot a zombie in the head from a mile away, but not anyone deployed in an open jeep. And my favorite crime, Daryl abandoning his only horse for a couple of walkers.
I still liked it
Whatever. Total nonsense, but still great. Let’s get a third season!
