BLUE LACE AGATE

Variegated chalcedony, more particularly a form of quartz, is what is known as blue lace agate. The most distinctive feature of this kind of agate is its banded layers, which are primarily light blue but can also occasionally contain vivid blue, white, and brown colours. In igneous rocks, agates often develop as nodules or geodes.
